JACKSON, Miss. -- Mississippi farmers and gardeners who want to learn about plant propagation and seed starting are invited to attend the next Alliance of Sustainable Farms field day.
On Jan. 17, the alliance will host Seed Starting and Plant Propagation at Mynelle Gardens in Jackson. The event will include roundtable discussions, a tour of the facility, and plant propagation and seed starting demonstrations.
The alliance will host the program with support from the Mississippi State University Extension Service, Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, Alcorn State University Extension Program, Up In Farms Food Hub, Metro Master Gardeners and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
